Mikayil Jabbarov was appointed Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Minister of Taxes Mikayil Jabbarov was appointed Minister of Economy by the Presidential Order dated 23 October 2019.

Furthermore, by the Presidential Decree on the same date the functions and institutional structure of the Ministry of Economy were expanded.

Consequently, Ministry of Taxes, State Committee on Property Issues, State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Rights Protection were incorporated into the structure of the Ministry of Economy in the status of relevant public services. 

 

The structure of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan:

  1. Apparatus of the Ministry of Economy (Departments and Divisions);
  2. State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
  3. State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
  4. State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Rights Protection under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
  5. Regional branches of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
  6. Apparatus of trade representatives at the Embassies and Consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan abroad.
