Tax Professional Learning and Development Forum

During the course of the Forum’s meeting, delegates will discuss really interesting and potentially important issues, such as: use of webinars, virtual classes, video for professional learning and development, measuring and analysing the effects of training, implementing tax education programs and projects in the schools, etc.

The Forum’s meeting in Baku will be a very important opportunity to identify, learn and share advancements in training/learning/development activities through Training Highlights and Market Place sessions. Delegates will be invited to a Tech-Talk demonstrating and explaining usability of different apps and web applications for learning and development.

All delegates of the IOTA Forum will have the opportunity to collectively visit a Training Centre of the Ministry of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shamakhi region and learn about its structure and organization, main activity directions, modern methods and tools used in training process.

We particularly want this event to be a practical experience for participants, where knowledge can be pooled during group work, open space and professional co-development sessions and where real issues and problems can be discussed and solutions sought.

Presentations by invited speakers will be combined with the opportunity for participants to share their own experiences and approaches during a series of group work sessions over the two and half days of the event.

It is expected that the Forum will also act as a virtual network to maintain regular sharing of information and to collaborate electronically throughout the year using approach “Show, Share, Lead and Learn”.

Therefore, the dedicated website of the IOTA Tax Professional Learning and Development Forum will be open for registrations and will contain all logistical information and meeting materials. Besides, a newly created event blog on the new IOTA website will be introduced to follow and sum up the Forum’s working sessions in Baku. At the end of each day, delegates will be invited to reflect on the sessions, presentations, discussions by posting their comments at the Forum’s blog.
